The recent earthquake in Yushu has got me in a bit of a tizzy.
When the initial news came out that there had been an earthquake in China, I found myself feeling panicked. We have friends there...we have a son there! We immediately realized our son is on the other side of China, far from Yushu. Our friends, Tim and Lindsay live in Xining, about 500 miles from Yushu. Tim is getting permission to travel to Yushu to help with rescue efforts. As is Ken Shakelford. Please keep these men and their families in your prayers. There has been a lot of devastation in Yushu....90% of structures have been damaged, many people are trapped and hurt, and many lives have been lost.
All this has made me realize how badly I want to bring our son home.
