I called and got a hold of the manager of the US Citizenship and Immigration Dept in a town south of here early this morning. She was very kind and gave us permission to come down for early fingerprinting tomorrow morning. This was a huge answer to our prayers.
We will finish up our physical forms this afternoon. We only have one more document to obtain for our dossier....hopefully, a trip to the Sheriff's Dept for a local criminal background check will take care of the last documents that we need. We plan to get that done tomorrow or as soon as Brian has a break in his schedule.
More than likely, I'll have to drive to the capitol building next week and have our notaries authenticated. Then we'll send everything to the Chinese Consulate in Dallas for the appropriate seals. THEN, everything will be off to China.
Please pray that God will go before us and clear the way to obtain the last few documents that we need and that we don't hit any major snags.
