We received an e-mail Monday that said our adoption homestudy is complete. This is a huge step in the adoption process. Hopefully, we'll be sending the homestudy along with the I 800A to the US Citizens Immigration Services by the end of the week. The USCIS is responsible for providing us permission to adopt an orphan from China.
Our agency notified us that the USCIS just changed the way they process these requests, so please pray that God will go before us and clear the way for all this adoption paperwork to be completed so that we can get our dossier to China and travel as soon as possible.
